Born in Colorado and raised in Los Angeles, Emily Everhard is a writer, director and actress.

As a pre-teen, Emily starred in a CBS sitcom and appeared in various film and television productions on ABC, NBC and FOX. After studying History at Dartmouth College, she worked on documentaries for Netflix, AMC/Sundance TV, and PBS. Currently, Emily’s a Sundance Fellow with her TV pilot TEKTITE.

Emily’s narrative work is inspired by true stories of women who break the rules to get what they want. She pulls from her documentary fieldwork and under-appreciated historical moments to craft unique narratives centering the queer, Jewish and female perspective.

Emily’s amassed over 10k followers on TikTok for her videos about queer culture. For “fun,” she is training for the New York City Marathon.
